Hi, I'm Kristin — a Greenville native, homeschool mom, and the person behind Oak & Yarrow Photography.

I fell in love with photography in high school, but it took becoming a mom to understand why it really matters. Suddenly I was the one chasing the light, desperate to hold onto every ordinary Tuesday. When I left teaching to stay home with my daughter, Oak & Yarrow was born somewhere between the lesson plans and the afternoon light.

Now I spend my days doing for other families what I wished someone had done for mine — showing up with a camera and making sure nothing gets forgotten.
